  • No. Dirty refers to the content of the material, not the condition. You will get clean aluminum pricing as long as there is no metal, magnetic material, or plastic attached.

Brass is an alloy made of copper and zinc.

The proportions of copper and zinc can be varied to create a range of brasses with differing properties.

  • You will get paid according to the items weighed, and can you weigh in as many times as you like.

    If you choose not to sort your brass, you will get paid at the lesser material price.

    If you need guidance or help sorting your brass when you get here, check in at the office.

  • No; “dirty” doesn’t take into account the condition of the brass, it refers to the amount of other material is mixed into the brass and the amount of prep work necessary to ship it.

  • Red brass has more copper in its composition.
